Yesterday Cody and I went our for out "3 years-date" :) He surprised me with something I have always wanted, A ring from Tiffany's! I couldn't be more surprised when I found that little blue box. I think I was in shock! He knows me perfect though. He couldn't have picked out a better ring for me :) It is two rings in one. so the cross. I told them they remind me of us! Inter-locked. hehe.
We both had a one hour massage, so we went and got a couple's massage (it felt amazing). Although we loved it, we were kind of nervous to go in. haha. It turned out great though.
Then we went over to the South Coast Plaza. He wanted to take me back to Tiffany's to make sure there wasn't a ring I liked more. I liked the one he chose but we exchanged it for a smaller size. We saw a movie and topped it off with dinner at The Cheesecake Factory.
I couldn't have had a better day. Spending it with him was the best. He spoils me a little too much. Im not complaining or anything, just stating a fact. He loves me and I love him.

Dear throat,
I would greatly appreciate if you stopped being red, stopped being swollen, stopped be sore, and really stopped hurting. You are making me want to cry. You are making talking and even yawning very painful. I have a date saturday and I would really enjoy to not be in pain.
Thank you very much.

3 years today :)
January 26th is my favorite day :) Why? because it just marks another year for Cody & me. I can't explain how this guy makes me feel. But in brief understated words:
He makes me happier than I could think of being. He makes me laugh harder than I am sometimes in the mood for, but when I look back, it is only because he was trying to make me smile. He does the cutest things that I don't think most guys would do. He has the sweetest heart not only for me, but everyone! Despite the fact that he is a big guy, he is a big softy! He never hesitates to show me his emotions. Every time I see him, I smile so big. Literally, you can ask anyone who happens to witness. He listens to me rant on about my "ideas" and it doesn't scare him. Sometime he contributes. hehe.
I love how I can tell him anything and he knows exactly how to comfort me. I love how I only seem to love him more as time passes by. I love how I know he will read this today and smile :) so I love you babe. Thanks for an awesome 3 years :) I am excited for this next one. hehe.

Best Friend Ashley
My best friend helped me out with my photography homework today. The assignment is to get two "fashion" shots and two "glamour" shots. So, ash was one of my fashion shots.
These aren't some of the correct shots; but some we took just for fun.
They are different but we liked it.

Just a little wind in our hair.
Hello monday! I hope all had a swell weekend. I spent mine on the STATUS student's winter retreat, Elevate. I love seeing how God work's in their lives! (pictures to come soon)
Do you remember me being "under the weather" a couple weeks ago? Well, that under the weather turned into a cold that got better only to get worse again. I had a terrible cough all weekend that is still lingering. I wish it would leave. *sigh* dumb california bi-polar weather. That is right; I blame it all on california. Well, despite this brief unexciting experience of being sick, I was so excited to come home from Elevate this weekend and see my pups. (I told you, I am obsessed with her.)
Cody bought me a beach cruiser for my birthday and for christmas he got me a matching "molly basket" hehe. So my grandpa finally put it on this weekend. I didn't know how.
So Molly and I took a cruise yesterday and today on our bike. She loves it. the wind in her hair, in my hair. hehe. Funniest part is she tries to bite the wind as it blows. So cute.
Hope you had a lovely weekend.

How pretty is this ring...
I think I am obsessed with simply looking on etsy! I don't ever buy anything, I wish I could, but I love to look around. And today, as I sit in class "paying attention" to the demo on the screen, I came across this pretty moon ring.
I am a huge fan of rings. I wear several everyday. Currently on my fingers:
ring finger- my "love waits" purity ring. Gift from Cody :)
left thumb- Peace ring. gift from my best friend's jewelry box. hehe.
right "ring" finger (is there a name for that finger??)- one of my favorites: simple yet decorative ring with a black topaz stone. Gift from my dad years ago.
right middle finger- heart ring that say's friends on the inner ring. Best friend has the "best" one. hehe.
I can't help but wear lots of them. I love em'.

Happy sunday from a cherry eyeless Molly!
Hi everyone! Happy sunday to you! My momma is busy running around and working, a usual sunday, so I am at home just hanging out, so I thought I would say hi to you all.
Good news and bad news
Good news is- as you can see (click the picture for a big image) I have no cherry eyes! Its amazing and momma says I look a ton cuter without them. I agree. More good news is, im spayed, yay! ( i didn't want little pups anyway. my little body can't handle it.) Pretty cool huh! And I am a good pup and finished my medicine without complaint. In fact, they tasted good to me, so my canine instincts kicked in the second she took them out and I went into "ooo treat treat treat!!!!" reaction. I can't help it. They were yummy.
Bad news is- I have to wear this stupid, I repeat STUPID, cone thing on my head. Not fun. I forget I have it on and cut corners and try to fit through small places only to get stuck by the evil cone of shame. Mom laughed at me for a few days...not cool. But only one more week with this ridiculous thing and im done! Then, momma can give me a bath! Im not allowed to have one until my stitches come out. ew. oo oo..and another haircut (i need it). Im also not allowed to run around outside; doctors orders. He said my wounds could get infected.
I am dying inside here. I just want to go for a long walk and stick my head out the window when mom drives!!! one more week....one more week!
until then friends!
love, molly! :)

Saturday morning with grandpa :)
Growing up, I have always liked saturdays at my house. More in the past then now, but I have flash backs to when I was younger. There is a lot about this house that I will always remember, considering I have grown up in it. But my grandpa's cooking is probably one of the things I will remember forever, most.
This morning I woke up to my grandpa using his old stove in the backyard. (it adds a nice touch to the backyard) he was cooking bacon and brewing coffee on it!! I love it. hehe. It burns on wood and cooks fantastically. The Zamora family is all about doing things the old way. I can't complain, they always turn out better.
(side note: I wish "zamora" was my last name. Its the last name of my family im closest with! I grew up with zamoras and "morris" isn't cutting it for me. I'm the only "morris" in the house. Isn't zamora so much more fun, cool, spicy? hehe. It comes for portugal. I think that why I like it.)
As for now, I am going to crochet (i am working on something exciting!!) until my 11 o'clock yoga class. Probably crochet some more after! OH...and there may or may not be a molly post a little later. She is 100% back to normal. Besides the cone of shame on her head. I think she is ready to make an appearance and vent a little.
Have a lovely weekend!

Word of the Year.
I heard the other day that "New Year Resolutions" set people up for failure. Personally, I don't think that is true. There are some people who LOVE them and they work well. Im not one of those people. I don't even make them anymore since I know I will simply forget and go about my business.
Along with that, I heard of a "word of the year." Instead of making a list of new year resolutions, choose a word and keep that in mind throughout the year. Put it to good use.
My word this year is "Beneficence."
It is one, perhaps my favorite, of the many words I remember from my english class vocabulary tests in high school. What does it mean? well...
ns] –noun 1. the doing of good; active goodness or kindness; charity.
So I will try my best to remember this word this year, and do just what it says. Maybe even random acts. I like those. It will challenge me to work on my faith and be more Christ like.

My FAVORITE kitty.
This is my cat, Tucker. I introduced him a while ago here. I just snapped this shot of him earlier today as I was leaving to pick up Molly.
Thats not our beautiful bird-bath or picket white fence. Thats my neighbor across the street. Tucker "owns" this neighborhood. Or so he thinks. He wanders all over as if its all his. He is funny.
p.s. Molly update: We picked her up from the vet not too long ago, she is doing just fine! They said her surgeries went fantastic and she will be back to normal in no time. As of right now, she is laying on the ground by the couch with her "cone of shame" on :( She looks so miserable and helpless. Not to mention extremely out of it. She sat on the kitchen floor for a good 15 minutes swaying back and forth. Almost falling asleep. I moved her to the blanket I got her for christmas where she then fell asleep. So prayers for my pups please! I hate seeing her in pain.

My Little Girl.
{yesterday's walk, with her new handmade harness made by code's mom}
Sorry for the lack of posts, I have been a little under the weather for the past couple of days and have really just wanted to snuggle with my pups with lots of blankets. Unfortunately I have been doing everything but that. And just to add to my little pity party [sorry for being a downer] I don't have a snuggle pups today :( my little girl is at the vet as we speak! She went into surgery this morning to be spayed and also get her little cherry eyes fixed! So as I sit here at work, my mind is off thinking about her and how I hope she is okay! I can't really understand why I am so worried about her. I know she will be okay, but she is such a little pups and this surgery for her eyes isn't a 100% success rate :(So I am off to continue to try and work with an absent mind!
I hope you have a lovely week!

mmm mmm.
Today my mom surprised me with lunch. Broccoli Cheddar soup in a sourdough bread bowl from Panera Bread. Unless you don't like cheese or broccoli, you can't really go wrong with that. And to finish off my lunch, a really cute cupcake from Dolcissimo Bakeshop.
Thanks mom. This will make her really happy, she has been wondering when she will make an appearance on my blog for a while now.
Have a lovely tuesday!

crochet flower headband: check.
I have been trying to figure out how to crochet these for so long! Every time I tried, they would turn out ridiculous looking. I think I mastered it in one extremely lazy day. It holds with a button and may be my new favorite accessory. And to my wonderful satisfaction, it doesn't take long to make at all! I will probably be making many more of these.
hehe. yay! I hope you had a lovely monday!

got it!
Do you remember my search for a "C" mug?? Well, considering the fact that I have an amazing boyfriend who goes above and beyond more then he needs too, it is only natural that he would go on that hunt without me knowing.
This little mug was one of my christmas gifts from him. He thought it fit me perfectly, which he is right. Quick fact about me, I love polka dots, and I LOVE stripes! He couldn't have picked a better one.
I now own 4 wonderful mugs from my loving boyfriend that I alternate. It seems as though every time he goes into any store that has kitchen supplies, he looks at the mugs wondering if I would like any.
It is a fact, my boyfriend is absolutely amazing and spoils me a little too much.
