March 9, 2013 has been the best day of my life yet! It was the day that I married my best friend and vowed to spend my life with him. I will never forget that day. So many people were a part of our celebration and we can't thank everyone enough for making our day so special! Thank you to our friend Amanda Mckinnon who photographed our day so beautifully. Matt & Cassie • Engaged

A few weeks ago Cody and I spent a couple of hours with this couple in Pasadena. I am looking forward to Matt & Cassie's wedding is June– June weddings are so beautiful! As a designer, I am constantly looking at inspiration imagery. Anything that can get my mind going on a roll of creative flow! Inspiration doesn’t only come visually, though!

FAQ TWO :: WHEN WORKING ON A PROJECT, WHAT MAKES YOU CHOOSE THE COLORS THAT YOU USE?

This isn't always easy for me. In fact, sometimes it is my number one creative block! Colors are so important and it is good to know what colors work well with others. Believe me, I took a class on color in college! Every color has an attribute that affects people in different ways. We don’t always notice this, but it does happen! When I run into the color block of any given project I always turn to the same place for a little inspiration: Adobe Kuler. Heard of it? This is a great place to find thousands (yes, thousands!!!) of color swatches and combinations that people just like you and me have put together. It even has this nifty little section where you can play around with your own combinations! You can play around with analogous, traid, complementary, compound colors and more. If you haven’t yet, head over there and look around. If you have an adobe ID, you can sign up and save your combinations in your own personal account!
